Fallout Wars General Information:

After HaloMod and some months playing Fallout 3 on Xbox 360 i've been thinking to add an new mod called: "Fallout Wars."

This mod contains [HQ] sprites which mean that they are not RESIZED pictures of the weapons in the real game. These sprites are handpixeled so they look proper in-game. (Time consuming method I know, but its worth it!)

I'm thinking to make this mod alone, since my sprite style differs from other artists.

The release of version V1.0 would come somewhere in late december (maybe even on old years day?)

F.A.Q
Q: Why is the release date so late?
A: I've got very busy with school and work relative, which is ofcourse my primary choice of spending (free) time on.

Q: Can I help making the mod?*
A: Yes you can, however you may not make any skin additions because as previous said, the sprite style or quality differs. You may however find the original sounds of fallout 3 weapons in proper format. (.wav)
Or Make a new Pointer, Hud, Splash and other things that are not listed above as weapons/players.

Other Notes:
I could have posted this mod-announcement in "custom maps and stuff" but then it would be never read and being forgotten.

(To bad you can't edit weapon names, firing sprites and damage/range/reload/rateoffire/accuracy statistics...)

But yeah, I was thinking if your weapons could lose power when you fire them a lot?

Like in fallout 3, they eventually break up.

OH, and could you make a knuckle?
It could be in place of combat knife?

and you could edit names with hex editor but DC will NOT allow it.You might could change accuracy rateoffire...etc. with
scripts idk how to do that though.

@ DC: Thanks, yes they are a bit large.. I first noticed when I based my second sprite on the first sprite and then I see its too long. However if it was smaller it would be hard to see all the details. (Like the orange wire on the AER9 would be not visible when you resize the drop icon by another 20%~)

@ Ipoleacs and Vibhor: Lua Scripting sounds nice, Perks in fallout 3 could be chosen just like you choose an ability with a skill point. (Like in Hero scripting from blazingxx)

Try making an list of fallout 3 perks that fits in cs2d or morph them in a suitable way Like "Pyromaniac" that grants you a Flamer. (normally gives 50% more flame damage) Or Demolition Expert that grants you a Nuka Grenade (Normally gives 20% more damage at each rank with explosives) etc.

Nope, the laser rifle is as big as the Aug which is good.
As for the HE I had two versions, one was even bigger than it is now. The HE is1 pixel bigger than the normal CS2D HE. + my brother is working on the player skins which will 100% suitably fit the weapons and the HE.
