The moderators I can remember off the top of my head are phenixtri, factis and most recently kimkat. Believe it or not all of them lost their moderator status as a result of community movements. Unrealsoftware is a self sufficient pseudo democratic system in that sense. If we don't like someone we can take them down. _-098-: That is nonsense. Moderatorship is voluntary position. Asking for an all-out active moderator is like for someone to dedicate a big part of their life (just to be active and supervise regardless of what's happening or not happening on the site). It's a lot more efficient to have many moderators who may not be as active. _-098-: This is probably unrelated to the current topic, but the reason why I was asking for permission to promote people into minor moderator ranks (suggestion which got rejected), is because DC lately doesn't seem likely he's going to accept more moderators even though we need them, and he doesn't like having to deal with this kind of stuff. GeoB99: I think it's a bad idea to make a comparison about the PM system with a report system, a report system is composed of many components that would make it different from sending a PM to a moderator. And in most cases, people prefers to continue a pointless discussion rather than reporting rule violations via PM.
How many reports can you submit in a day? Does your rank allow you to send reports? Can you see rejected/accepted reports? _-098- has written
