If this ties into that (steam) then either these guys are really big fans (doubtful) or someone is encouraging them to be asses and attack your site?

Looking forward to the day this is considered a serious enough crime that idiots like these can be punished for such attacks, even taking away their computers would be a start.
Jovara: The attack happened before and was definitely unrelated. Just people with too much time for nonsense on their hands attacking random websites just because they can. So there wasn't even a particular reason for the attacks. Now need to go check updates for stranded 3, still hoping to see crowd funding or something similar to get that game kickstarted!
Marcell: That's the point. Mami Tomoe: This will probably never stop. There are always new people who think it's funny or cool to attack websites/servers for no reason. Changing the IP does not help in any way. 
got attacked yesterday by attackers, they really don't want to stop and this is madness. 
During the last month we've been getting actual threats and doings from "Alex", "leader" of the infinity clan and if it's his doings too here then I'd sat he's pulling off a ddos, because his VPN's IP was blocked which stopped the dos for a while however it's back, along with the attack on usgn.

Many of you may hate me for the DDOS attacks I've caused in January, this year.
I'm personally sorry to DC for causing damage.
I had reasons to do so, but those reasons weren't valid enough for causing huge damage.
So DC please forgive me for the damage I've caused In January, and I'm sorry to all the users for the downtime caused by us.
Down here Is some stuff that the so called 'Powerfull CS2D Hacker' Shyster does(n't) want you to know.
And again, users/DC please forgive me.

Silosla was responsible for the attacks in January. We talked in Skype and I asked him to stop and he did. I also have info about the new attacks and who might have caused them (someone else) but this isn't 100% confirmed yet so I won't post anything about it.The damage caused by DDoS attacks and downtimes is actually incredibly huge. Especially in these days where traffic is higher because of Stranded Deep (yes, it is, www.strandedonline.de has twice the daily unique visitors than it had in december and the months before).
People cannot even see that there is Stranded and they can't download it. Most people won't try again later so this is a very bad thing and loss of many potential players. Up to several hundreds each day the page is offline. This is the thing which bothers me most. Many people can't play CS2D anymore or they have annoying restrictions like no login and no updated serverlist. Some people might even stop playing completely for that reason. Of course the forum and file archive are down as well which is bad too and might lead to loss of users. I earn less money because no ads can be displayed. While still having to pay full server rent. This is actually the smallest problem because I don't earn much with the ads anyway.All this pointless damage for no reason. I didn't do anything bad to anyone. I'm just trying to develop free fun games here but some people just don't want to let me do this. So no, I can't forgive anyone who attacks my website. The damage is just too huge to forgive. I may forgive if an attacker can give me a good reason for the attack but I can't think of any.
