I was thinking about how we probably promote CS:2D and make it have some more users.
This may sound ridiculous for some people, but I think this is quite a nice idea.
Well I haven't watched any LoL (League of Legends) stream for a while but I remember that when famous players where playing and streaming there were over 20.000! viewers per stream.
The pro players like Imaqtpie (https://www.twitch.tv/imaqtpie) use to stream EVERY day. They often have so much high queue time, that they played small games during their queue, for example hearth stone, agar.io etc.. I remember they even had up to 20min-45min qeue times!
Why don't we promote CS:2D to such streamers? Just go ahead and ask them if they would like to check a small game out and maybe play it in their que times? I mean if 20.000 people watch a stream and they play CS:2D, even if it's for about 5-15 min, that would have a huge impact for the popularity of the game. I'm sure it would be fun for them and alot of viewers would like to try it out especially because they LOVE playing with the streamers themself. Example: Imaqtpie joins a server -> wait 3 min -> server full of Imaqtpie fans. People will play, like it and maybe stick to it.
I'm not quite informed about the LoL Scene atm, because I stopped watching/ playing it, but I'm sure alot of CS:2D Users play LoL and know the streams/ streamers. Also I know that streamers like Imaqtpie or others, are really open for new fun games etc. So this is quite real feasible in my eyes. Why don't we give it a try? What do you think about this idea?
