Hey guys , i know this is silly but i want to be sure.

MY cc runs slow like 10 fps and i cant play. Well i read the faq and it says : open "Carnage -Dirext.bat" , set the details to the lowest and disable the text shadows.

well , i disabled shadows , i done partical details : Some
also i don't understand "Carnage -Dirext.bat", there is just one appilication annd it's Carnage Contest. pls help me

This runs CC in DX mode.

first of all "Carnage Contest Problem" is a very bad title because it says NOTHING about the actual problem. please think of a better title next time.

you can also do the following:
- install the latest video card drivers
- install the latest version of directx
- make sure that your system is fast enough (check the requirements at the download page)

about the bat file: just double click the file called "CarnageContest -DirectX" and the game will run with DirectX.

there is no file called CarnageContest -DirectX.bat

yea DC i got directX i saw on :C files also video card too , and ye my system is also fast. yes my problem is that there isn't file : CarnageContest DirectX on the CARNAGE FOLDER

you are right, what a shame. forgot to put it into the zip archive of the latest release. my bad...

open carnage contest folder

right click empty background

new

text document / text file (or something like that)

paste the code:

@echo off
title Run Carnage Contest (DirectX mode)
start CarnageContest.exe -dx
exit

save

rename to RANDOMFILENAME.bat (the .bat extension is the important point!)

run with doubleclick

OR:

windows key + R

select CarnageContest.exe

attach a -dx to the textfield afterwards ("path/CarnageContest.exe -dx")

haha ty DC it works succesfully , u have checked all the possible problems like u do at all the unreal software games

haha? Ok, "I just fixed something so now i can laugh at it!" is usually not common but ok

But seriously DC is normally going to be the only one who is going to be able to tell you every detail toward getting the game running, since he is the one who codes them.
